Jonathan Madras BSc (Hons.), DDS, Cert Endo, FRCD(C), Diplomate - American Board of Endodontics
Jonathan Madras is a Toronto native who brings with him a unique background of experience and education. He obtained his certificate in endodontics at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, and his Fellowship from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, in 2010. Prior to that, he spent a year in Toronto as a general practice resident at Mount Sinai Hospital, working with special-needs patients as well as in the emergency department. He received his DDS degree in 2007 from the University of Western Ontario, and obtained seven awards over the course of his dental training. He received his BSc from Queen’s University in 2002.
In between degrees, Jon was a personal fitness trainer at the former Fitness Institute, now the Toronto Athletic Club. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, exercising, camping, skiing, scuba diving, painting and illustration, and playing the guitar.
Jon teaches and lectures extensively in the endodontic field. He spoke at the 2010 annual conference for the American Association of Endodontists, and is a clinical instructor for undergraduate dental students at the University of Toronto. Jon is a past president of the George Hare Endodontic Study Club. In December of 2012, he proudly became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
