Andrew Moncarz was born and raised in Toronto. As a child and teenager, he was fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend two sabbatical years with his family traveling in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He received his DDS from U of T in 1999 as well as the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award for outstanding voluntary service to the university. Dr. Moncarz completed his dental anaesthesiology training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City in 2001. He received his Masters from U of T and his Fellowship (Royal College of Dentists of Canada) in Endodontics in 2004. He received his Diplomate status from the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology (USA) in 2005.  He became a Specialist in Dental Anaesthesia in Ontario in 2008.

Dr. Moncarz is currently a lecturer and a clinical demonstrator at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto in the Disciplines of Paediatric Dentistry and Dental Anaesthesia. He also holds a staff position in the Department of Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.

Dr. Moncarz is a Past President of the George Hare Endodontic Study Club and is a Past President of the Ontario Society of Endodontists. 

Out of the office, he enjoys life with his wife and three children.  He is an avid bass player and collector of vintage basses.

Jonathan Madras is a Toronto native who brings with him a unique background of experience and education. He obtained his certificate in endodontics at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, and his Fellowship from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, in 2010. Prior to that, he spent a year in Toronto as a general practice resident at Mount Sinai Hospital, working with special-needs patients as well as in the emergency department. He received his DDS degree in 2007 from the University of Western Ontario, and obtained seven awards over the course of his dental training. He received his BSc from Queen’s University in 2002.

In between degrees, Jon was a personal fitness trainer at the former Fitness Institute, now the Toronto Athletic Club. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, exercising, camping, skiing, scuba diving, painting and illustration, and playing the guitar.

Jon teaches and lectures extensively in the endodontic field. He spoke at the 2010 annual conference for the American Association of Endodontists, and is a clinical instructor for undergraduate dental students at the University of Toronto. Jon is a past president of the George Hare Endodontic Study Club. In December of 2012, he proudly became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Michael Tiedemann was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. Since university, Michael has stayed in Southern Ontario completing his HBSc and PhD in chemistry at Western University. He completed his DDS from Western in 2017. Michael finished as class president and won the Endodontic Award. He then practiced dentistry privately for 3 years in Hamilton and Grimsby Ontario. He returned to university at the University of Toronto for a specialty degree in Endodontics. He received his masters from the University of Toronto and his Fellowship (Royal College of Dentists of Canada) in Endodontics in 2022.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys life with his wife and three cats! He enjoys being a nerd with tabletop miniature gaming and brewing his own beer. If not contemplating being on his Peloton, he may be on a road or mountain bike! Michael finally broke his three year no-fish streak up in Restoule, Ontario, only losing one lure while catching some keeper bass.
