EndoAsleep - Pre-Anaesthesia Instructions

Before the Procedure:

  1. Come to your appointment with a responsible adult who can drive you home. The sedation appointment will not start without an escort. You may not take public transportation home.
  2. You must not have anything to eat or drink 8 hours prior to your appointment
  3. Take any regular medications on the morning of your procedure as directed by Dr. Moncarz with a small sip of water
  4. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Short sleeves are preferred to allow for monitor and IV placement
  5. Do not wear jewelry or contact lenses
  6. Use the bathroom before your appointment
  7. Apply the anaesthetic patch (EMLA cream) one hour prior to your appointment on the backs of both hands
